Two shots representing the culmination of my 2 weeks at Richard MacDonald
Workshops Master Class, July 2007, in Monterey, CA. Very worthwhile program,
especially the first week Anatomy Workshop led by Andrew Cawrse, and seeing
Richard create compositiions on the fly was worth the price of admission! The
above are my sculptures in roughly his poses and composition, though he juiced
the composition much further before the week was out.

intense heat for several days, subject to a
rich accumulation of ash, smoke and
gases, each piece is uniquely shaped by
its ordeal in the fire, a bit like each of us.
