| Arts Biography Bob Clyatt has been formally involved with creative arts from an early age. As a teen in California in the 1970s his interest in photography and photojournalism moved him to create fine art prints and to be taken on as a rare private pupil under noted western photographer Challiss Gore. Using a darkroom he built, Bob had several of his works accepted in Photographic Society of America juried exhibitions. During the next twenty years, Bob focused on raising a family and pursuing a business career, founding a prominent New York City digital design firm which employed 30 designers and was sold to a public company in 1998. Bob returned to fine arts shortly thereafter with an intensive study of sculpture under several teachers in the figurative sculpture tradition, including Michael Keropian, Anthony Antonios, Sarah Coble, Andrew Cawrse. Barney Hodes and Richard MacDonald. Bob's principal sculpture education has been at the Art Student's League of New York. Bob has received numerous private commissions and awards for portraits and figures His work is included in the collections of both private collectors and organizations, and is sold nationally.
